Russian Opposition Journalist Labeled “Jewish Pig”

Alexei Venediktov is the Jewish editor of the “Echo of Moscow” radio station in Moscow which has now been banned due to its critical covering of the war. This Thursday outside of his apartment, he found a pig’s head Ukrainian coat of arms sticker with the word “Judensau”, a German slur that means Jewish Pig. Other prominent journalists in Russia have also been targeted by vandals as Russia increases its censorship of media over the Russia-Ukrainian war, such as Daria Heikenen and Kristina Vorotnikova.
